Yeppers Full Metal Alchemist is great!  I've also been enjoying 
Get Backers.  If your looking for ESP type animes you might want 
to try Spiral or E's Otherwise, although they both got a bit dark.  
But I if you want romance and comedy you should watch a 
couple older shows Hana Yori Dango (Boy's Before Flowers) and 
Kodomo no Omocha (Child's Toy)  I loved them both!
