I'd recommend Jubei-chan, which has the action 
and the comedy.  I really like the original 
series, and the second series, which just came 
out in Japan, wasn't terrible.  Here's a cel of 
my favorite character from the series, Shiro, 
the closest thing the show has to a serious 
character ^^
