Well, I literally JUST received my new digicam.  
I decided on the Canon Powershot A75, because it 
gave the best comprimise of resolution (3.2 
megapixels), controls 
(fstop,apature,exposure,etc), and price (about 
$230 from amazon).  I think they say you can 
print up to 10"x14" pictures on a 3 megapixel 
camera, but I believe 8x10 is safest.  Awesome 
camera, but if you don't need optical zoom or 
those manual controls, take a looks at the Canon 
A310 (About $150 or so, maybe less).
