say that - I moved to Belgium before I got in 
contact with such stuff. But if you say you 
wanna send money to Japan in the form of 
a "Mandat" or "Geldmandat" which is a pink 
little paper, they should know.

I don't know about the costs in Germany, BUT 
it's not free! In Belgium I pay €7.50 up to a 
certain (very large) amount. Be prepared, I 
heared horrific stories of €25 and more.
