Those are all great ideas.  I was with two other people, 
so one of us always stayed in the area, but these 
suggestions could help others, on their own, feel a little 
more comfortable.  At other cel meetings I've been to, it 
was a real concern, but I felt pretty good about the 
quality of people in the room with us this weekend.  

I also had my "trade" cels, but couldn't even make the 
rounds, and didn't want to mis anything.  Not having the 
time to change modes is much better than not having 
the turnout and getting bored quickly. ^_^  

Actually, though, because I had friends there, I wasn't 
so worried about theft.  I was more worried about 
getting an offer I couldn't refuse from a collector with 
similar tastes, and leaving with a diminished collection.
