Like Chi said, when you seperate the layers, you
take a chance of losing paint.  I have noticed
this especially with the black outlines.  Also,
the paint can stick to the other layers of the cel
and then you have to chip it off which can cause
small abrasions.  

But once again, if the framer is experienced,
these things can sometimes work out perfectly.
