I can see you aren't familiar with marketing, not 
all promo posters have vast runs. And many are 
made for specific tasks, attraction posters are 
displayed on buses/trains and their stops, others 
are made for movie theaters, and still others are 
made to sell products. Each one wiould be 
different. Not all were meant to be handed out 
freely in shops. And not all marketing budgets 
are created equally, they may make 10000 posters 
for movie theaters, but only 500 for the sides of 
a bus. Just do a generic search on posters on 
ebay and yj, you will see the variety and the 
scope in price.
