I prefer to buy production cels over reproduction
cels.  I like to be able to see my cel on the
screen... not some cel that looks a lot like my
cel but isn't really it.  I like to own moments in
the anime, favorite scenes and characters, etc.

Painted reproduction cels (be careful, unlike
those, other repros aren't painted but machine
printed without any paint) are pretty and all, but
with a limited budget, I rather spend the money on
production cels.  That's just me though.


As for comparing to real cels, those are probably
in better condition than most production Slayers
cels.  Some might prefer the art/image/size better
in those too, but that's more up to personal
taste.  (I do think they're very pretty though ^_^)

However, as for "worth buying," that's something
you have to decide for yourself ^_^.  Everyone has
to set what they consider each cel is worth to
them, taking into account factors like art
quality, condition, and in this case, whether it's
production or not.  Everyone is a little different
on what they feel is right.
