Like I said, buying "great" cels from Anime-link
has nothing to do with the issue I brought up.
I have bought a great cel from Rick, so what is
that supposed to mean? Are you suggesting that I
shut up and kiss his ass when he is not clear on
an issue of "stolen cels"? I would not do that to
a friend. I will not go around and kiss ass
because he has some nice cels to offer. That is
ridiculous. I like doing business with him and
would like to do more, but that is not the issue.

It has nothing to do with a "smear" campaign or
likewise. It has to do with a clarification in
public of a controversy. I have never said anyone
was hiding, but I do think that it would be
reasonable to have an answer right here. What is
the big secret is what should be asked.
To the point that Anime-link hasn't been aware
of these posts, I fail to believe that they
haven't. The reason why I say this is because
this issue to my knowledge first appeared
publicly on the JAMCL mailing list to which I am
a member, and to which Rick did reply. He also,
made a statement to the affect that he
would "clear up the matter" on his web- site
called "Anime-Link". None has been posted. The
matter was then carried over to this forum.
If I personally contact Rick on this matter it
does only good to my ears, and does not clarify
anything for you or anyone else that may be
interested in a resolution. If you are not
interested in a resolution, then I don't see a
reason for your comments. I don't believe in
second hand information on such an important
matter. I think that it is important, if you
don't then that's your opinion. For example, if I
contacted Rick personally and later if I said
that Rick said this or that, it would not be in
my place to be his spokesman.

As far as flame war, I don't get what you are
saying. What does that do? Flaming someone on
this topic is nonsense.
