Oh I can feel for you.  I absolutely despise 
needles soo much that for some minor surgeries 
I've had they've given me 10mg of valium (and a 
local anathestic where the needle goes in)to 
relax me before putting the IV in.  Which is the 
only thing that saved one ham-fisted moron who 
tried three times to find the vein in my hand and 
couldn't do it while I could feel the needled 
moving around and poking at things UNDER my 
skin.  I could go on sharing some of my needle 
and doctor horror stories but I won't instead
