I've been using Celga right around the time that Keigo really
launched it in a big way, so about 2 years ago. Admittedly, it's
taken a lot longer to get orders shipped now than it was then,
but that's really due to the large number of people they
service. I personally think they need to hire more people to
cover the emails and all that stuff, since poor Emily and
Marcia seem to be totally swamped as it is. Of course, Celga may
not have the resources or time to do that at present, so I think
they are doing an admirable job getting stuff out under the
circumstances.
But as other people have suggested, if
the shipping form doesn't seem to get you any replies, email
Emily or Marcia directly, since they WILL respond to you. As
for Keigo, I think he's pretty busy handling the business
aspect of things, since I rarely talk to him on email any more,
and I used to all the time a few years ago.
But I can tell you
what Hyla, who does accounting, says about shipping when I met
her at Fanime this year. She said that the reason things take so
long to ship is generally because it takes them 3-5 weeks to
receive the item from the Japanese seller. To me, that's an
amazingly long time, since if you tried that on ebay, you'd be
in big trouble. I personally am one of those sellers who feels
terrible if I don't get a cel out the day that I receive payment.
So anyway, it may be that Celga hasn't received your
order(s) yet, and that can explain the delay. But I wouldn't
email them and harrass them about it, since in most instances
there's nothing they can do about it. Asking them nicely is one
thing, but giving them crap is another, as I'm sure you all
understand. If they get frustrated and blacklist people,
like Patrick said, that's generally why. But I've learned
that I need to be patient, since they won't forget any of us, and
they'll get the stuff to us when they receive the orders.
Hope this helps!
