Ah, so you did win that auction, Celtyrant. 
Congrats! I knew there wasn't any way my bid 
would last, so I'm glad to know he's going to 
someone I know.

Last year, in my frenzy to own cels of a certain 
seiyuu's characters, I landed a cute, but pricey 
cel that Evilminion very much wanted to lure 
away from me. I demurred at the time, but this 
year, when a cel of this particular character 
was all she was lacking for a particular set, I 
relented and offered to trade. She found me 
several lovely boys in exchange, but then she  
offered me the piece de resistance, as an early 
birthday present as well as part of the trade. 
And thus I have this lovely shot of Riki from 
the closing moments of the first Ai no Kusabi 
OVA, a cel I'd been drooling over for months. 
Trades that work out like this make me all warm 
and fuzzy -- we both ended up with something we 
wanted very badly and we were able to make the 
other person happy.
