It's a good idea, and if I were an evil genius it 
would be a great idea.... but the big sticking 
point here is that I don't want to take anything 
away from current members.

I don't expect to make money, I just want to lose 
less money. If RS were to have some sort of 
subscription thing, I'd want to think of some new 
service to provide on top of the existing "make a 
free website" thing.
