Well, consider yourself lucky that you at least
found the problem.  I recently bought a new
computer system with a dvd burner.  A couple of
weeks ago, I decided to play around with it and
author a dvd full of anime music videos.  After
two days of informative messages like
"indeterminate error" and "build failed", I was
about to give up.  Finally got it to work and
made a dvd, but still not sure what I did to make
the errors in the first place or make them go
away later.  So, I dread ever trying to make
another dvd.  Here's a cel that describes my
irritation factor before things started working.
