I don't like buying things I do not know or have 
not seen teh entire series yet.  I did, however, 
buy quite a few unknown robot cels for very cheap 
(no more than $3-5).  The reason . . . well, I 
have always had a love for robots ever since I was 
3-4 years old and watched Transformers on TV.  So 
if it looks well drawn and has many nice, details 
and colors, I would get it.  But, I would never 
invest in ANYTHING (not just cels) that I don't 
know much about.
