Hi Tara,
Thanks for your gracious and positive
comments! ! ^-^
I am not down in the least though, but I am
very, very curious and probably a little overly
optimistic about peoples goodwill ^-^.
I am not complaining at all, indeed I am
actually quite honored and surprised (*bowing
humbly*) that anyone would take the time at
all, to bother looking, at my small and mostly
non-mainsteam cel collection. I only have a
few friends online that collect Gunnm cels for
instance, my main interest--that is , one , two!
I don`t need the attention as much as a little of
the curiosity fulfilled about "who are the
visitors behind the numbers"?, that are visiting
my rinky-dink, and obscure cel gallery ? If I
was collecting more popular series FY, DBZ,
TM, CB, Slayers, VHD, Inuyasha, X, GW, YYH,
etc., I could quickly understand, because there
are so many collectors of those series. I know
in reality that I will never know of course, (*be
careful "what you wish for" kinda deal*) but I
thought that I`d get the idea out in this forum.
We have galleries online, but we don`t get a
chance to see the look on someones face or
the comments that he/she might make when
they see a sketch or cel, (like an offline
gallery, i.e., a public musuem or art show
display).
I am like you too. I make comments and
welcome people onboard when I find the time
in my hectic schedule. One day, before RS got
really big (around 50 sites or so) I actually took
the time to visit every site and make a positive
comment to all of the sites, at that time, that I
really liked. I get the feeling like it is a good
thing to do it again. It helps I think , because
there recently has been a lot of negativism,
envy, and distrust going on. And some of the
great gallery owners have packed up and
resigned from forums and from putting
anymore their cels on line, and that is a
shame, because of a few rotten eggs.
Take care and thanks!,
E.
