I have noticed that a bit too.  There have also
been drops in many other series (except for Fluffy
on Inu yasha which has increased since it came tot
he US).  I think it is more/less that time of year
before the Christmas rush approached.  

BTW, since you have watched their prices, how much
do you think a portrait shot of masked Chichiri
(with a big smile) would go for?
