::sigh:: Well, I'm almost done my costume, but 
I've hit one hitch and it's bugging the hell out 
of me.

Dante's boots.

You see, his boots are incredibly plain. Black, 
mid-calf, not fancy stuff...save for two buckles 
(one around the ankle and one high up), on the 
outside parts. 

I keep finding boots with three buckles (they're 
lace-up, too, ::sigh), or a million buckles; or 
none.

I was getting frustrated and then I found the 
light; Donald J Pliner Alpha style boots! They're 
perfect, buckles and all! Unfortunately, 
everywhere I find them they're either ludicrously 
epxensive or too small (size 7). Now, with less 
than two weeks to the con, I'm faced with the 
fact that I might have to construst the buckles 
for a pair of plain boots. Ugh.

So show me your cels of cosplaying characters to 
help get me through this hitch! I know it's small 
in the light of many things, but I get obsessed 
over details!
