I use the security envelopes that have printing 
inside them AND I always fold my money order 
inside a single sheet of paper.

The key, IMHO, is avoiding a fat envelope or a 
see-through envelope.

And angela, I hear ya.  I've used both ways, and I 
guess the bottom line is that every way has it's 
risks.

I honestly think the country matters more than the 
method you use to send the money.  I've heard a 
lot of bad things about the Honk Kong postal 
system, but I haven't personally had any problems. 
 The only postal system that *everybody* seems to 
insult (including the natives) is the Italian one. 
 Lots and lots of horror stories.  :-(  This is a 
realy shame because there are fantastic deals to 
be had on vintage Japanese toys in that country.
