Hi all!!
Frostrubin has brought up an interesting point in
the international shipping thread that I have a
few questions about. I have been thinking of
creating a sales page and selling a few of my
cels. I plan on offering international shipping.
Anyway, Frostrubin mentioned declaring the
package as a gift with a low value and possibly
including a note with birthday wishes to further
convince customs officers that it is a gift to
avoid duty fees.
For people that have sent cels internationally,
do you do this or anything similar? What does
everyone think of this practice? It does seem a
bit dishonest, but I'm all for helping other
collectors keep the costs of receiving a cel
down. :) I guess I'm just looking for opinions
before I am faced with this situation.
