Back before Mandarake created an English page for 
their daily auctions, I used the Japanese version 
of the entry form to enter bids.  The Japanese 
version of the form does return a confirmation 
page after each bid.  At least it used to - I've 
always used the English version once it became 
available.  Perhaps you entered a bid under the 
Japanese form the last time.

Just a thought.
