Hi there. I have wondered this for a while, and 
fianlly broke down and am posting the question to 
you all. 

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this (or 
commented on it), but why are anime movies/ova's 
animated so DARK compared to the TV version?

AMG, CCS, IY to name a few that I noticed are so 
much darker! 

Am I looking far too much into this? Or is there  
some reason why they would choose to make the 
colors/scenes in a movie/ova less vibrant?

Even single movies like Spriggan and Akira and 
Metropolis have very un-vibrant (is that even a 
word??) colors.

Just curious. ^^;;
