Sorry to hear that you're under the weather for
the holidays!  You may want to try some hot spiced
wine with honey -- not only is it good for your
throat, but it's festive and if you drink enough
of it, you may even forget that you're sick.  *hugs*

I know exactly what you mean -- Bren and I aren't
religious at all, but we celebrate Christmas with
a vengeance.  *grin*  As we see it, this holiday
is all about friendship, sharing, and appreciating
all the things that make life so wonderful, and
that's a concept which has no religious boundaries.

So this year, we're celebrating in our usual
fashion... usual, at least, for years in which
we're not off visiting family... with good
friends, home-cooked food, and a big anime
marathon tomorrow for everyone we know who didn't
fly away for the holidays.  And you're certainly
welcome to join us in spirit.  ^_^

Just root around under the tree a bit -- we always
have a couple of extra little presents under there
in case someone stops by unexpectedly -- and let
me know how many marshmallows you'd like in your
hot chocolate.  ^_^  Happy-happy Christmas
