My only two experiences with trying to get a 
credit card company to help me when a seller ran 
off were not good. Basically, be ready for the 
credit card company to tell you that (as far as 
they're concerned) *Paypal* is the one who 
received your money -- not the person who you 
sent it to, because the person you sent it to 
isn't an authorized merchant for the given card.

You don't have the same protections when you pay 
through Paypal as you do when you walk into a 
store.
