The current round of this scam seems to be
originating in Turkey.  If you get an email like
this, forward it immediately to the company being
named (in this case, eBay), COMPLETE WITH THE
HEADER INFORMATION.  In other words, use your mail
tool's Forward function instead of copying and
pasting into a new email.  No email spoofer, no
matter how canny, can cover their tracks
completely -- clues to their location are buried
in that header data.

Sorry to hear that somebody here has been targeted
by this -- you're smart to always be wary of email
links for personal info!
