First off...this isn't a very good way to make
yourself sound very mature. :\ No, I'm not
flaming you, nor am I trying to start a pointless
Internet fight, but really...one of my close
friends is gay and it bothers me with that rude
remark.
Onto the main reply of this topic:
Why would a male viewer be gay? He may like the
art style, or he simply might just like bishoujo
anime. There's nothing wrong in that.
If you've never watched Sailor Moon, then don't
assume. The sub is -nothing- compared to the dub
that's shown on TV here -_-. The real thing is
much, much better. . .So if you ever -do- watch
it, get the subbed.
I believe that, yes, even though it was aimed for
young girls on the grand scale, there are still
many, many male fans.
And no, just because there are male fans, it does
not mean they are gay. Sailor Moon has
male "role model" or male "superhero" characters
for the guys to follow and route for, such as
Tuxedo Kamen, Elios, and the Three Lights (let's
not get into their henshin status...).
It's not just about girls running around in
skirts "saving the world". It's about growing up
and facing life. Everyone, male and female, does
that, therefore just because a man watches Sailor
Moon, it doesn't necessarily mean they are
homosexual.
You asked what I thought, so there it is... I
feel like I had more to say but I can't think of
anything at the moment.
Take care,
Kristina
