As I move along from one auction to another on 
eBay, about 2 out of 3 times a brief pop-up 
window opens up and then closes itself.  I think 
it started happening about 1-2 weeks ago.

Every time it happens, the pages are a little 
slower to load and overall it impedes auction 
browsing quite a bit.

I don't know if there was a recent eBay policy 
change which explains these pop-ups, but I can 
only guess is that these short-lived windows run 
some type of script to set some kind of cookies 
for some tracking purpose.  But the bottom line 
is that I just don't know.

If anyone can shed some light on this, that'll 
be great.
