I recently made a very large purchase from an
American Animation Dealer- purchasing several
American pieces which were obviously, done
overseas ( the registration holes on top, the
kanji written on the sketches and etc. ) and one
of the items I received I am still puzzling over-
it was taped to the back of one of the cel
backgrounds. It's from the same sequence as one
of the cels I bought but definately not one of
the drawings used in the finished animation.
This is much sketchier, with quick yellow/orange
pencil strokes blocking the characters in. There
appears to be a graph in green, also, I'm
assuming to block in the TV field size, and Kanji
type also printed in 2 of the corners. Penciled
lettering is #407-386 and SC. C104
This is definately not a douga, but someone
suggested "genga" to me and I'm just not sure.
Anyone have any ideas what category this might
fall under? A layout or something? |
