Well for me, it was a strange start.  3 years 
ago, I hated anime. I mean, I really hated it. 
Then one night, while I was still at Penn State 
working on my astrophysics degree, my fiance 
(then boyfriend) called me and said that there 
was this really cool 'cartoon' on Cartoon Network 
called Gundam Wing (in its first run on CN).  I 
said, 'humph -- japanese animation -- ick'.  But 
one night a week later, I was up really late 
working on some physics problems... and I needed 
a break. So, remembering that he said it was on 
at midnight, I tuned in.  And that was the END of 
it all.. I was HOOKED.  So, another 6 months went 
by.  By then, I'd started building the models & 
collecting the toys.. and watching -- you guessed 
it... more anime!  Then, I discovered 
Animegame.com & cels.org.  And I had already 
fallen in love with Heero from GW.  So... I 
bought a cel of him.  And it was the best one I 
ever found.. and it's still the pride and joy of 
my gallery:
