It came out in 1986, but just recently came out 
on DVD here in the states about a month ago.  It 
was released before "My Neighbor Totoro", but 
after "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind".  The 
actual title is "Laputa: Castle In The Sky", 
however the DVD release is just called "Castle 
In The Sky" for obvious reasons. ;)

Its a really good movie, you might want to check 
it out sometime.  The dub is pretty good, and 
has Anna Paquin as the main character, and Mark 
Hamill as the lead bad guy. ;)
