My dealer who is also a personal friend keeps me
up to date on a lot of what goes on with 
suppliers in Japan.
A lot of the main suppliers are starting to sell 
on Yahoo and ask american dealers to send cels 
back to japan.
Prices of good stuff is going up, and new shows 
have no cels.
Most of the minor cel sjhops have closed;
Zero(due to tax evasion I am told) closed.
Comet is still open, but only one store.
Mandarake is still buying stuff, but they sell 
mostly on their own auction site.
Most of the middlemen suppliers are going or 
gone.
Very few people collect cels in Japan as they 
use to.
Its mostly hard core nuts(sorta like us) buying 
up older shows, now that there are no new cels 
anymore.
And thats why so much new good stuff is showing 
up on Yahoo.
Japanese dealers are trying to move stock before 
the price drops to much.'
Of course some will maintain in value, but 
nobody know which.
This last trip to Japan was pretty slim pickings.
I just hope the next one is worth it(other than 
the sheer fun of being over there).
Of course this is all my own beliefs, so its 
subject to redicule and objection.  :-)
