I know absolutely nothing about cel distribution 
practices, but last I heard Evangelion cels were 
not being released for sale to the public 
because of some kind of studio disagreement. So 
except for the few that have turned up here and 
there, I had not seen many cels up for sale. 
However, lately I have seen more, still not 
many, but more Eva cels for auction. Some have 
incredibly high and some have relatively low 
starting bids. I guess I'm wondering if these 
cels are genuine production cels. There have 
been a few that I would be interested in, but 
I'm hesitant to bid. Would anyone out there be 
able to enlighten me about the possible origin 
or authenticity of these cels?
