Do they really serve any real purpose?

Geez, I could also constantly ask about who won 
this auction or another or another or another, 
etc.

or who saw or brought what cel or sketch from 
whichever cel dealer at whichever convention or 
web site and blah-blah-blah-blah...

I do hope that Yann does put a stop to them.  
It's getting really annoying.

My take is that unless you're the seller or 
someone interested in buying something (that 
HASN'T been sold yet), these inquiries into Anime 
Museum updates aren't very productive or useful 
to this forum.  And unlike SHOW ME threads, they 
don't make me happier or feel better nor do 
anything except make me feel like I missed 
something.

People, there's a mailing list for this prattle 
(check the AM site)!

If there's really something worth talking about, 
I won't mind occasional posts along these lines 
maybe 1-2 times a month).  But any more than that 
they ... ergh.
