hello,
These are only my thoughts and will more than
likely ramble and might not make any sense excpet
to me, whether a signatuer makes it more or less
vaulable is a personal judgement call as to if
the signature is vaulable to YOU, because the
worth of a cel is personaly enjoyment :)
I think there are lots of variables, and it could
affect the costs either way, such as who
signature it is, someone who's name is synonymous
with what projects they work on such as Yu
Watsase, Shinichirô Watanabe, Rumiko Takahashi
and Hayao Miyazaki,if they signed the cel, would
make the cost of buying the cel rise *I think*,
but an american voice actor or most Japanese
production staff, would not be as vaulable.
Sometimes the signature fills up an empty space
and if you don't believe that you can match up
the missing layers later it is a good way to use
the space.
If your getting the cel signed, I think getting a
second piece of acetate over the first is a good
way to protect the cel.
In my case, I only own one signed cel....
My cel did cost more than my second cel from the
same sequence because of the signature,*bought a
week a part from each other* I don't regret the
difference in price, and if I did sell one of the
two, it would be the unsigned one because of my
sentimental value of being signed by someone I
worship.
