I am considering going to the Big Apple Anime 
Fest and I never went to an anime convention 
before.  I basically just want to go to the 
dealer room to check out the goodies, but don't 
know which day is a better to go (friday, 
saturday, or sunday).  Are dealers likely to put 
out the good stuff eg. nice cels (hope they sell 
some there-but actually wonders what is going to 
be sold) over the weekend or do they put 
everything out on the 1st day?

BTW. Is it absolutely necessary to buy a ticket 
to gain entrance to the dealer section only.  If 
I do pay I want to be there the right day and to 
be able to buy something.

Has anyone gone before?  Is it worth it or should 
I wait for the AnimeExpo (wonder when they will 
have it in NYC)
