I'm hoping someone could share their knowledge or 
point me to some good informational web sites on 
making your own cels.

I'd like to be able to make my cels look like the 
original series as much as possible, so it'd be 
great if I could find out things like the 
following:

1) What are the standard materials and brands 
that the original studios use (acetate, color 
paints, inks (black and color) for hand drawn 
lines, pens, etc...) and where can I buy them?

2) Where can I find exact paint color schemes for 
various anime shows (would I have to buy those 
Settei books from Yahoo Japan?)

I already do a lot of artsy-crafty stuff so I 
think I'm OK with the aspects on technique, but 
would really like to know more about the 
materials involved.
