yep, all of that's true, but it's also true that
on online auctions the market can change very
fast as most people don't live in front of their
computer. What i mean is, if you got a cel on an
auction some day for a price of XYZ maybe it was
because the person who would have placed a higher
bid was not around that day/week.... I would only
consider that an item cannot sell for a
determined price if you keep relisting it a few
times without luck...
Don't know about your experiences but personally
it has happened to me to place an auction with an
starting price, not getting any bids on the first
2 batches and at the third time get 2 or more
bids on that item...., but for sure pricing items
and selling them is not an easy matter....
And about sellers saying on the auctions that the
starting price is "less than what they payed
for", well, i have doubts about if it's true or
not on all auctions. Most of the times noone has
ways to know what the seller has payed for the
cel so he/she can put the desired start price and
still say that that it's lower than what payed
for making sound as if the item was a bargain....
Of course there are many honest sellers out there
but as original prices are something that you
cannot know for sure when i find one of these
auctions i just ignore comments like those. |
