I'm not quite the person to estimate the value
of Kenshin cels (seeing that I don't collect
them or anything..) but I will say that it seems
that even cels from the more popular series
these days aren't getting the money that they
might have a year or two ago. I'm sure this has
a lot to do with the economy, since a lot of
people seem to be forced to sell the greater
part of their collections to finance
more 'important' things like cars, homes, family
emergencies, etc. Or, there are just those of us
who randomly get annoyed or bored with their
collections and sell some cels to buy new ones,
or just to make a change.
I know I've taken a hit on a couple cels that
I've sold recently, but I realized that I'd much
rather see them go to a good home where they
will be well cared for than worry about how much
I pull in for them. The cel market is so fickle
right now -- for instance, I have a cel listed
on evil-bay right now that is getting FAR more
attention than I ever expected. It's a nice cel
and all, but like I said, I didn't expect the
interest in it that I'm seeing. ^_^ (not that
I'm complaining)
Now, I know I didn't directly answer your
question, just danced about and vented about the
surrounding issue ^_^ (guess I should be a
politician?) I'm sure that someone here might
have an idea about the kenshin cels, so GOOD
LUCK!
