Hello,

I have recently purchased a cel and the 
registration holes had been cut off then retaped 
on again. I informed the seller that this Damage 
was not noted when I purchased the cel. The 
seller responded that cutting and retaping the 
registration holes is a common practice and is 
used when the animators mis-aligne the image on 
the cel, so they would cut and move the 
registration holes to properly align the image.

 Is this true?

 I have a hard time believing that the animators 
would make such a ridiculous error.

 Any input is well appreciated
