Thats exactly what was happening to me - but I 
ran a virus scan, it cleared it up, and it never 
happened again.

Although I think it may also be caused by 
someone who is infected who has your email 
address in their address book. (Klez)  In which 
case, there is probably nothing you can do.  I 
would still perform the virus check though.
