So, of late, a lot of layout/genga sheets have
hit my hands. Most are, if at all
possible, "complete", having storyboard layout
sheets, colored pencil douga, and black/blue
douga.
Some, however, do not.
So, the question, in the first part, is this: Is
it "wrong" to try to complete a set-up, by
reassembling all the scattered pieces, or am I
just being arrogant/greedy/a (insert word of
choice)? If not, is it okay to approach people
who have other parts of something you have, to
try and make that completion?
I mean, I really like having it "all", when it
comes to scenes or shots. To me it is like
separating a cel from its background, sketches,
&c.
Secondly, related, is the same question for
sequences. There are a couple of short, powerful
scenes that I would dearly love to reassemble in
order. Short stuff, maybe only 12 to 18 cels.
What about those? Is it hoarding/greed again, or
just an unhealthy desire to spend all my money? |
