I was working on my taxes yesterday (I know I'm a 
geek for doing it so early but the sooner it goes 
out the sooner I get my refund).  I can't figure 
out where I'm supposed to deduct the money I 
spent on cel purchases.  Now I know Uncle Sam 
would encourage this sort of spending, so there 
must be somewhere to put it, I just can't find it.

It's not really a business expense, though I have 
brought my cels in to work to bring enjoyment to 
my coworkers.  I thought maybe it could be a 
medical expense, since I feel like I paid an arm 
and a leg for some of them, but that doesn't seem 
right.  Maybe it's a gift to charity, because I'm 
sure the people I bought them from really needed 
the money and they spent it on good causes.  
Possibly I can put them down as a dependent since 
I ooh and aah over them the way most people would 
a child.

I don't know - I guess I'll have to keep reading 
the novel they call the instructions and see if 
it's in there somewehere. ;)
