hey gang --

thanks for the responses.  course now i'm kicking 
myself in the ars for not having gone after some 
of the sadsblood's earlier cels ;) .

i guess what it came down to was 1. the blue tape 
(which i now know is part of the bag ;) ), 2. the 
apparent size of the cels (though i know there 
are "oversized" cels out there), and 3. the 
quality of the cels.  put them all together, and 
you can see why i was hesitant to think they were 
actual production cels.

funny thing is i've seen cels of lesser quality 
go for much more money, so i guess that too had a 
part to play in my belief that sadsblood's were 
fan cels.

anyhoo, thanks again everyone, and of course, if 
anyone else wants to throw in their 2-cents,
