I have a great deal of trouble with Key the Metal
Idol cels due to the fact that they're really
really dark on a whole (other series I might have
just one dark hard-to-scan cel).  I just try to
scan them and warn people in the description. 
From other Key collectors I've spoken to, this
seems to be a general problem so at least I know
other fans of the series will understand ^_^.
