The concentration of acetone in nail polish 
remover is low enough not to affect the cel if 
you use enough just to get a q-tip wet.  I've 
used it for minor touch-up jobs without any 
warping or melting plastic.  I didn't mean to 
continually go over the area with nail polish 
remover.  One or two swipes with a q-tip should 
be max and wipe off any non-evaporating residue 
immediately with a paper towel.
