While I agree Micke has the right to sell at
whatever price she wants...I don't think someone
not willing to pay $1200 is a "cheapskate". You
don't even have to pay that much for a good, huge
piece of artwork, which is also one-of-a-kind.
Even big paintings I've seen and wanted have been
around the $900 range. Of course, that's as
subjective as cel pricing, due to differing
artists, mediums, etc, so the comparison is moot,
but you understand my point.
Just because someone isn't willing to shell out a
large hunk of cash doesn't mean they want
everything for free ^^;;
Another point I would like to make to the
anonymous poster: Collecting is a hobby...and
very rarely do you make back what you spent. If
you go into it planning to make a return on what
you spent, you are going to be sorely
disappointed, and I suggest you get another hobby.
With that said, Micke, I hope your cels sold to
loving homes ^^
