You *are* at fault. Sure it's a fun hobby, but
you should have told your friend of the pitfalls,
heartaches and consequences, not just the joy,
happiness and exuberance. I'm not sure you were
the most responsible friend, but that isn't
really any of my business. I am worried, however,
that the tone of your post seems to say that you
don't really *care* that you led your friend
blindly into this competitive, obsessive hobby
without giving him any real warnings or genuine
advice. The post was flippant, mischievous, and
filled with glee and teasing - without an ounce
of compassion or concern for your friend's
emerging habit.
Just my two cents..
