The reason I ask is because there were 
differences between the two...the TV run on CN, 
though billed as "unedited", was indeed edited, 
cutting out scenes and details, and in the middle 
of the series they cut out entire episodes. This 
could account for the lack of continuity you 
express...missing eps could be the problem ^^

I myself think the series flowed very well, 
telling everyone's stories in their own time, not 
getting ahead of themselves and telling too many 
stories at once ^^ But I can see your 
point...::shrugs:: To each his own ^^
