I think there is a small difference between
baseball cards and anime cels. Baseball cards
they can always print more of the next day, with
anime production cels the're unique. When they
are gone, thats it, no more. This is why i feel
that the cels will always retain their value, and
the market wont drop ever as severe as bb card
market. It may fluctuate due to age demographics
and other perceptions, but not as harshly. I dont
think a Ken Griffey Jr card is worth the paper
its printed on. But thats just monetary value.
It would be nice to pick up a cel for that price
but i'd have to fend off every one else and end
up getting the same amount, so its six of one and
half dozen of another. ^_^x |
