I'm scannng all my new cels and (because they
take more time) pain-in-the-butt pans are always
saved for last. ^_^; Enter said 5 layer pan and
book Eatman cel - all layers *stuck*. Hard to
handle because half the layers have the
registration holes at the bottom, and the others
have them at the top - not to mention it has both
a background and midground. 9_9 So I load it on
the scanner. . . scan one way. . . flip. . . scan
the other way. . . It came out right on the first
try! I go to take the cel off the scanner but
didn't notice the top layer had slid the tiniest
bit under the scanner bed edge. . .
* * R I P P I N G N O I S E! * *
( ( ( O_O ) ) );;;;;;;;;
I was sure it would be dead. T_T But no!
Incredibly, the top layer (which I'm positive I
could *not* have tried to remove carefully with
success) had ripped free cleanly - with no damage
to it or the layer below. . . (O_O) What are the
chances of THAT!?!?
Ahhh. . . A happy ending. ^___^ Here is the cel
in question prior to getting unexpectedly
unstuck. ^_^; So who else has a scanning horror
story?
